My Week In Pictures #1

After seeing similar things on a few of the many other blogs I follow, I thought I’d hop on the band wagon and do a little round up of our week with the photos I have shared on Instagram! If you’re not on Insta then why the hell not?! It is an amazing community and platform to share your life with other amazing people and I love it. Come and follow us @lylaanddaisy, or if you’re reading this on a desktop or tablet then click the link to the right hand side now!

The week started with me sharing a typical ‘Instagram’ photo, which I don’t do all that often! Some flowers, a cup of tea and my computer – things that make me very happy! Monday kickstarted me working a lot harder on this hobby of mine and researching how I can progress with it. I’m feeling really positive about the future!

I also posted a very non-insta worthy photo of me in my PJ’s with a cup of tea, just to restore the balance a little!

Looking back, my Insta was very Daisy-heavy this week. That’s probably because whenever I point a camera at Lyla at the moment, she either hides, turns her back on me or frowns! I’ve been reminiscing back to the newborn days (which weren’t actually that long ago) with a blog post on something that has been bothering me for a long long time; comparing my two babies at the same age – they were/are so similar; feeling very proud of Daisy smashing her milestones and trying to get my littlest munchkin to nap when she had no interest whatsoever!

I joined in with ‘This Mama Life’ and her ‘What My Kids Wore Wednesday’ aka #WMKWW, as Lyla was looking particularly stylish in her rock star outfit! I am going to attempt a weekly kids fashion post on here, to tie in with #WMKWW so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Saturday was all about the motivational, inspiring quotes..

OK, so maybe not that inspiring but still! My positivity has gone through the roof the past week and I’m really excited about the future so I’ve been ‘getting my shit together’!

Finally, I managed to capture a couple of lovely moments between the girls, something that is becoming a regular occurrence between them. Watching their relationship develop is my favourite thing in the world, and if it continues as it has then I have got a pair of best friends on my hands, which I couldn’t have wished harder for.

A couple of videos have gone up on my YouTube this week too so don’t forget to check those out, and please subscribe while you’re there!

See you next week for more Insta adventures!

Much love xx
